Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He began Para swimming in 2010 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Why this sport?
His father took him to a swimming pool as he wanted to improve his health. He was also involved in Para sailing before focusing on Para swimming. "I knew swimming on an amateur level before that [his accident] and I was not afraid of water, but on the first day my heart still went because I was not used to the load at all. However, swimming was not as difficult as taking a step towards change. I was still firmly determined to use every opportunity to change my mindset. Sport has given purpose to my life."
