Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
She began powerlifting at age 26 in Medan, Indonesia.
Why this sport?
"A friend invited me to attend a sewing course, where I met a lot of people with an impairment. I was very motivated because it was the first time I did not feel lonely. One thing led to another, and I was introduced to [Indonesian Para powerlifter] Anto Boy, who encouraged me to take up the sport. At first I hesitated because I thought it was a sport for men. Then an [Indonesian NPC] official came to me and said that I had the perfect arms for lifting weights. So I tried it out for a few months, and have never stopped since then."
