He took up the sport in 2017.
Why this sport?
He initially took up handcycling following his rehabilitation and then moved on to Para alpine skiing. "After rehab I rode a handbike and I realised that I desperately needed sport. It's in my nature."

OCCUPATION
In 2021 he joined the Swiss army's high performance sport programme 'Spitzensport in der Armee' [Top Sport in the Army]. The programme includes the opportunity to train and prepare for competitions at the army's facilities. "On the one hand, I feel honoured to be one of the first wheelchair athletes who can do WK days [sport courses].
