Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up snowboarding in the years following his accident.
Why this sport?
He was initially invited to begin Para skiing. However, he was more interested in snowboarding because he felt it was more similar to his passion of rollerblading. He then became involved in the design and production of a prosthesis that would allow him to take part in both sports. He achieved this in 2006, and as a result is seen as something of a pioneer in the discipline.
