She began swimming in primary school in Police, Poland.
Why this sport?
She initially wanted to play volleyball, but eventually discovered she had a talent for swimming and that her success in the pool helped improve her confidence. "I didn't really like swimming in the beginning, I preferred playing volleyball. But after some time my volleyball coach helped me understand that I could be better at swimming."
