General interest

Sporting philosophy / motto
"My coaches expect the same things out of me as they do of everybody else. I've always liked being seen as just a normal swimmer. That makes it easier to train hard and work hard, because I'm still expected to compete against everybody else who's able-bodied and can do everything when I can't." To qualify for the 2017 World Championships in Mexico City, Mexico, and to compete at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. (goashlandeagles.com, 02 Mar 2017)
