Other information
PIONEER
He was among the first Para ice hockey players in Slovakia, having taken up the sport in the Czech Republic. He wanted to create interest by starting a club, and secured the use of an ice rink in Dolny Kubin, Slovakia. As the popularity of the sport increased he went to the Slovak Paralympic Committee [SPV] for further support. "I lived in Kyjov [Czech Republic] and I learned that Para ice hockey was played in Zlin [Czech Republic], so I went there to have a look and I got hooked. I was about 34 years old. At that time, I was the only Slovak who played. I made a website and a few people called me. We started going to the ice more."
