"Sport has been always present in my life. In high school I got involved in cycling and I wanted to do mountain bike for life, but then I had my accident. I never blamed sport, so after the accident I wanted to return to cycling."

CHANGE OF SPORT
He represented Poland in alpine skiing at the Paralympic Winter Games in 2010 and 2014. "Now I am mostly focused on cycling. Para skiing is something extra, more recreational now. I like it but it's impossible to combine these two totally different sports at a high level. I chose cycling because it has been always in my life and I have always enjoyed it. (tvp.pl, 12 May 2020)
