He began swimming in 2011.
Why this sport?
His doctors advised him to take up a sport and he chose football, which he played for five years. He was invited to try swimming after his football team disbanded. He was later inspired to take up competitive sport after watching US swimmer Michael Phelps performing at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
