When and where did you begin this sport?
He began swimming at age four in Terni, Italy. He began Para swimming in 2015, less than a month after his accident.
Why this sport?
He was contacted by the Italian Paralympic Swimming Federation [FINP] to start competing in late 2015, and made his debut in January 2016 at the Croatian Swimming Open in Split, Croatia.
