When and where did you begin this sport?
He began swimming at age four in Terni, Italy. He took up Para swimming in 2015, less than a month after his accident.
Why this sport?
He was contacted by the Italian Para Swimming Federation [FINP] in late 2015 with a view to him competing, and he made his international debut in January 2016 at the Croatian Open in Split, Croatia.
