Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He began training in athletics in 2012 at the Antony Athletisme 92 club in Paris, France.
Why this sport?
He played football as a child before a chance event revealed his strengths in athletics, when he decided to run in a 200m race organised by a youth group in Paris, France. He finished first out of 2000 participants, and then took part in a 4x100m relay race where he also emerged as the winner. An older athlete saw him and invited him to join the Anthony Athletisme 92 club. He accepted the offer, and advanced from competing at recreational events to national level. He credits the sport with making him stronger mentally. "Sport has helped me to have more self-confidence and maturity. This has allowed me to better value myself."
