He took up Para athletics in 2017, and began competing in 2018. He also played baseball until starting high school.
Why this sport?
After his motorbike accident he joined a Para sports club discovered by his mother. He was introduced to coach Ken Nakata by Japanese racing driver Juichi Wakisaka, so he decided to focus on the sport competitively.
