Banked slalom

Athletes will start the 2016-17 World Cup season with what has become the annual IPC Snowboard World Cup season opener, a banked slalom competition on the indoor slopes of SnowWorld in Landgraaf.

With five slopes, including the longest in the Netherlands, the venue is the world’s largest indoor ski resort. It regularly hosts training sessions for the burgeoning Dutch national team, who count Paralympic and double world champion Bibian Mentel-Spee and talented youngster Chris Vos amongst their ranks.
