When and where did you begin this sport?
He began athletics in high school at age 16.
Why this sport?
His mother picked up a flyer promoting a local wheelchair basketball team and when he was given a trial for the team he discovered many members were also involved in athletics. "I loved it. It was awesome. Just being able to go faster than I've ever been able to go with my walker or my everyday wheelchair was a great feeling."
Training Regime
He trains in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA, United States of America six days a week, with a day off on Monday to recover.

General interest

Hobbies

Injuries
In 2011 he fractured his right femur [thigh bone] and was unable to return to fitness in time to try and qualify for the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. (tucson.com, 14 Jul 2013)

Impairment
