She took up shooting Para sport in 2005.
Why this sport?
Participating in the sport helped increase her self-confidence. "[Growing up] I felt like I was the only impaired person in the world. I used to think as if everybody was staring at me and watching me. My father directed me to sports. After I started sports, my thought process changed completely. I saw that impaired people like me could become very successful. I said, 'Why not me too?'"
