Impairment
She was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis at birth, a condition which causes epilepsy and seizures on a daily basis. She has around five seizures a day, reduced from as many as 20 a day when she was a toddler. At age 21 she underwent surgery which was successful in stopping her seizures. However she sustained a brain injury that affects her mobility, resulting in her be reclassified from T20 to T38.
