Established to provide expert advice to the IPC on issues related to sport science.
Membership: The Sports Science Committee shall normally be comprised of six members, including the Chairperson and five members at large. The Committee meets at least once a year.
Function: To establish policies and guidelines in order to enhance scientific knowledge and to promote sports science education and sports medicine development in Paralympic sport.
Status: The Sports Science Committee was established in 2004 and was previously a Subcommittee of the Medical Committee.
