Designed by Vincent Thiebaut, Alpy, the mascot for the Tignes-Albertville 1992 Paralympic Winter Games, is shaped in the form of the Grande Motte, a mountain that is part of the Massif de la Vanoise, in Tignes.
The Paralympic mascot is depicted on an mono-ski to highlight its athleticism.
