He switched from playing amputee football to long jump in 2010 in Cardiff, Wales.
Why this sport?
He was playing amputee football, representing England at the 2007 World Cup in Turkey, when he got to know para-athletics coach Anthony Hughes. Hughes encouraged him to move to Cardiff, Wales, and take up the sport. “He said if I moved to Cardiff he would support me, I've never looked back."
