He began skiing at age four and took up para-snowboarding at age 16 in Astun, Spain.
Why this sport?
He had always loved being in the mountains and snowboarding was his favourite sport. Inspired by other athletes with an impairment who were competing in winter sports, he took up para-snowboarding.
