Jeroen Kampschreur: My Proud Paralympian Story

Get to know Netherland's teenage talent and three time world champion Jeroen Kampschreur ahead of the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympics.

With very little experience under his belt, Jeroen Kampschreur sprang a surprise at his first World Para Alpine Skiing Championships in Tarvisio, Italy, in January 2017, by claiming three golds in the men’s giant slalom, slalom and super-combined sitting. He became the first Dutch Para alpine skier to win a world title.

He also practiced wheelchair basketball and even represented his country in junior categories until 2015, when he decided to fully devote himself to alpine skiing. He is also an ambassador of the Johan Cruyff Foundation, which encourages young people to take up sports.
