Samsung Paralympic Bloggers: PyeongChang 2018

Calling all entries: The Samsung Paralympic Reporters Competition, PyeongChang 2018

Make a 2 minute film showing your reporting skills on the subject of Do What You Can’t.

Do you love Paralympic Sport? Looking for a career in sports journalism or film making?

Then get ready, because entries for the Samsung Paralympic Reporters competition are now open for PyeongChang 2018!

Produce and submit a 2 minute film showing your reporting abilities on the subject of Do What You Can’t and include five things you’d like to report on during Games time to be in with the chance to be one of the Samsung Paralympic Reporters winning the opportunity of a lifetime – an expenses paid trip to blog from PyeongChang 2018.

Samsung celebrates and supports those who strive to Do What You Can’t—those who defy barriers to do the extraordinary inside and outside of sports. All Samsung Paralympic Bloggers will be using Samsung’s innovative mobile technologies to showcase their stories.

The deadline for entries is 7 January 2018, 11:59pm (CET) and all entries should be submitted in English, French, Chinese, Korean or Japanese. A panel of judges from the IPC will then draw up a shortlist of participants whose reporting skills will be tested at the next stage – by live interviewing athletes online. The winning reporters will be announced early February.

Three winners from the competition will be chosen in total to be a Samsung Paralympic Reporter for the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games (9-18 March 2018) to showcase their behind-the-scenes fan experience there. Winners will receive a paid trip to PyeongChang 2018 (travel, accommodation, meals and the provision of equipment during the Games), a special Samsung goodie pack and personal exposure through both the IPC and Samsung channels.

The competition is open to any available super-fan for PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games. All entrants must be aged over 18.
