Lia SOARES MARTINS (BRA) produced a remarkable scoring performance with 45 points as Brazil defeated France 59-35 in the classification match for 9th and 10th place.
With their captain delivering the highest individual score of the tournament, Brazil led from start to finish and were 31-14 ahead by half-time.
And with both sides seeking a consolation win at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, Brazil ended their campaign in style.
A 17-0 run in the second half empahised their dominance and at one stage they led by 28 points with SOARES MARTINS adding 10 rebounds to complete her fourth double-double in five games in this tournament.
Angelique QUEMENER-PICHON (FRA) had a team-high eight points for France, who finish last overall.
