EARLY DAYS
He said playing sport as a child helped him accept his impairment. "I carry my impairment, but I have to admit it was not always easy for me to handle in everyday life. In primary school my classmates played football, basketball, volleyball and other sports and I was constantly sitting on the bench, and when I got home I would cry. I was not discouraged and decided to use sport to show everyone that I was just like the others. At that moment sport brought me back to life, because if it didn't I would just feel sorry for myself and wonder why I am the way I am." (slobodnadalmacija.hr, 20 Sep 2020)
