When and where did you begin this sport?
He first joined the South Kalimantan Paralympic Committee in 2010. He began competing at national level at the 2012 National Paralympic Week in Riau, Indonesia.
Why this sport?
An official from the South Kalimantan Paralympic Committee introduced him to competitive Para athletics. "I didn't think I would be able to compete at international events. He was just motivating me to keep on practising and competing. Although, back then I was also motivated to succeed like my colleagues and seniors."
