He began shooting in 2005 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Why this sport?
He had shooting experience from his time serving in the military, and took up Para shooting as a way of meeting new people. "I have always loved sport, earlier I played wheelchair basketball, but then I decided to return to my beloved shooting."

Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, he moved to Belgrade, Serbia, in 1992 to receive treatment following his impairment.
