Itay Erenlib is the latest player to challenge the top four of the quad division after a successful 2016.

The quad division is one of the toughest on the tour and the Israeli is trying to break the mould set by Dylan Alcott, David Wagner, Andy Lapthorne and Lucas Sithole.

Erenlib’s best singles ranking is fifth after several strong tournament performances where he made finals and semi-finals in ITF 1 and 2 Series tournaments throughout 2015 and 2016. He also reached the final of the year-end NEC Masters.

His doubles ranking has improved thanks to his performances alongside compatriot Shraga Weinberg. The pair progressed to the Rio 2016 Paralympic semi-finals however lost out to the US duo of Nick Taylor and Wagner.
