He took up Para athletics in 2014.
Why this sport?
He played American football in college, and took up CrossFit in 2011 as a way to keep fit and return to a competitive sport. He was then introduced to Para athletics in 2014 at a Para sport talent identification camp in Chicago, IL, United States of America. "The big surprise for me was how competitive everyone was. It blew me away, and from there I was hooked."
