“Our goal is to stage a truly memorable female football camp for participants to enjoy in the spirit of fair play, equity and enjoyment.”

To mark 250 days to go until the Nottingham 2015 CPISRA World Games, Cerebral Palsy Sport England and Wales and the Nottingham 2015 Organising Committee has announced that, in partnership with the newly formed International Federation of CP Football (IFCPF), they aim to host a female football camp between 10 and 13 August 2015 alongside the World Games.

The Nottingham 2015 CPISRA World Games will take place in the heart of the historic city of Nottingham, Great Britain, between 6 and 16 August 2015, with the majority of the competition taking place on the new iconic Harvey Hadden Sports Complex.

The international competition which is attracting entries from over 23 nations so far will include athletics (including Racerunner and Slalom); bowls; football (Under 19); football female; swimming; para-taekwondo and table cricket.

Alison Talbot, Chief Executive of CP Sport, said “We aim to support the development of female CP Football across the world and we hope this football camp will provide a unique opportunity for coaching, participation, fun and to also watch some of the World Games action.”

The female football camp will be delivered by IFCPF qualified coaches and will take place on the Harvey Hadden Sports complex site, alongside the inaugural Football 7-a-side World Championships Under 19.
