The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Alpine Skiing Europa Cup continues on Tuesday (7 February) in Tignes, France, with 56 athletes from 14 countries competing in the Downhill and Super Combined events.

After bad weather in Abtenau, Austria, kept competitors off the slopes in January, Europa Cup skiers will be keen to crack on with the competition.

Germany’s Andrea Rothfuss will likely want to even up the medal count against France’s Marie Bochet in the women’s Downhill Standing. Bochet had a run of golds over the last few weeks in the technical events at the World Cup.

USA’s world No. 1 Joe Tompkins is expected to dominate the men’s Downhill sitting, and Austria’s Markus Salcher will be a podium favourite in the men’s Downhill Standing.
