Members named to new skiing Coaches Advisory Group

IPC Alpine Skiing and Snowboard has named seven members to a new Coaches Advisory Group for alpine skiing.

The group are all experienced coaches from around the world and were confirmed by the Sport Technical Committee (STC). They will be available throughout the year to answer questions on topics such as equipment, sport rules and the field of play.

Their aim is to gather all questions and queries from the wider coaching community, to provide consistent answers and advice.

The members for the IPC Alpine Skiing Coaches Advisory Group for 2016-17 season are:

North America

USA - Kevin Jardine

Canada - Jean-Sebastien Labrie

Europe

Russia - Alexander Nazarov

France - Christian Femy

Netherlands - Falco Teitsma

Asia and Oceania

South Korea - Kazuhiko Ban

New Zealand - Ben Adams

At a meeting led by STC member Ozzie Sawicki, the Coaches Advisory Group agreed that Kevin Jardine will be their Chairperson.
