World Para Nordic Skiing has announced the official competition calendar for the 2018/2019 season.

There will be three World Cups in both Para biathlon and Para cross-country skiing, as well as the 2019 World Championships.

Vuokatti, Finland, will host the season-opener from 10-19 December. The Finnish city is a familiar location for skiers, having been a regular venue on the Para Nordic circuit since 2007.

The second World Cup will take place in Ostersund, Sweden, from 12-19 January 2019. It is the first time Sweden has hosted the World Cup since 2013.

The highlight of the calendar then comes in Prince George, Canada, where the 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships will be held from 15-24 February.

The season will end in Sapporo, Japan, from 8-16 March with the final World Cup, where the winners of the famed Crystal Globes will be decided. The Japanese city last hosted the World Cup in 2017.
