“We announce our intention to help people disabilities and move to support them in different aspects."

Iran’s Chairman of Provincial Supreme Council Dr. Basiripour met with NPC Iran Secretary General Amir Mandegarfard and National Paralympic Week Secretary Mr. Hadizadeh in early June, to discuss support for people with disabilities.

Basiripour pointed to the matter in regard to Iran’s constitution, saying “There is no difference within human beings.”

“We announce our intention to help people disabilities and move to support them in different aspects,” Basiripour said.

NPC Iran officials called to approve a guideline in the purpose of sport for the people with disabilities in all municipalities across the country during the National Paralympic Week. They also requested for proper planning in order for the better access of people with disabilities to public facilities.

Provincial Supreme Council is an organisation authorised to govern all the city councils of the country.
