US Para equestrian team nominated for Rio

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named four athlete-and-horse combinations to the US Paralympic equestrian team for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

• Sydney Collier, grade Ib, and Wesley Dunham's Western Rose, a 2003 Oldenburg mare

• Rebecca Hart, grade II, and her own Schroeters Romani, a 2002 Danish Warmblood mare

• Margaret McIntosh, grade Ia, and her own Rio Rio, a 2006 Rheinland Pfalz-Saar mare

• Angela Peavy, grade III, and Heather Blitz and Rebecca Reno's Lancelot Warrior, a 2002 Hanoverian gelding

Further information regarding the US Paralympic Equestrian Team selection process can be found on USEF.org. All nominations to the 2016 US Paralympic Team are subject to approval by the United States Olympic Committee.

Para dressage competition at the Paralympic Games will take place 12-16 September at the Deodoro Olympic Equestrian Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The IPC’s Global ATR is Jet Set Sports, and Rio 2016 tickets and packages can be purchased on the CoSport website.

Residents of Brazil can buy 2016 Paralympics tickets directly from the Rio 2016 website.
