If you are looking to follow the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games closely, stay tuned to the International Paralympic Committee's (IPC) website, app and other social media platforms.

The IPC will be catering to your sporting appetite with some exclusive coverage from the Games.

The Winter Paralympic Games extravaganza will see in all, over 550 Para athletes from 46 National Paralympic Committees competing in 78 events in six sports – 39 for men, 35 for women and four mixed events at five venues.

Catch all the live action from 4-13 March. Along with the Opening and Closing Ceremony, one can also enjoy live action on all 10 days on our website and the Paralympics LIVE app, on up to eight parallel channels.

These live streams, provided by Olympic Broadcast Services, will be in 16:9, HD format and will carry English commentary.

Live streams will be also available on the Paralympics YouTube channel while select live streams will be shown on the Paralympics Facebook account, but Geo Geo restrictions apply to all platforms - paralympic.org, Paralympics LIVE app, YouTube and Facebook.

Twitter and Instagram will also provide live tweets, behind the scenes content, daily highlights. Weibo and Douyin, through images, polls and previous Games footage, too will keep visitors engaged throughout.

The IPC will also keep you abreast with all the news, daily previews and reviews along with daily schedule, results and medals table.

And if you are new to Para Snow Sport and still trying to figure out what these sports are, then make sure to watch our video series on ‘We Know You Didn’t know’. You can be assured that it would boost your general knowledge.

Through another series ‘Ones to watch’, get acquainted with hot favourites from each sport, with a short profile on each athlete and their achievements thus far. Both the series are available on website and social media platforms.

Also get a deeper understanding of each sport at the Paralympic Winter Games through articles titled ‘10 things to know’ about each sport.

Passionate followers of Para sport can air their views through the various polls that will be run on our social media platforms – Twitter and Instagram.

The IPC have already put together a series of features on some top-class athletes heading for Beijing, where they speak about their inspiration, challenges and of course, about their dream of Games glory. 

Most of the medal winners will also be featured on a daily basis till the end of the Games.

Our Down the Memory Lane series – will take you back in time to relive those yesteryears of glory when Para athletes and Paralympic Movement was taking baby steps to carve an identity amongst the masses.

Some of the legends of the Games - Heinz Frei, Lauren Woolstencroft, Ragnhild Myklebust, Annemie Schneider, to name a few, have already spoken their hearts out ahead of the showpiece events in our flashback series.

Games-time videos will have comprehensive daily highlights featuring the best action of the day from all sports. The IPC will also be posting daily athlete feature videos along with clips of selected moments.

So come March 4, take your favourite spot on the couch, grab your popcorn and tune in!
