WORLD PARA NORDIC SKIING WORLD CUPS 2019-20

Welcome to the official homepage of the 2019-20 season.

The world's best Para Nordic skiers will kick off their campaigns in Lillehammer, Norway in December.

There will be four World Cup stops, with one still to be announced, running through to March 2020, ending with the Finals in Ostersund, Sweden.

Lillehammer, Norway: 12-19 December 2019

Lillehammer will open the new season ahead of staging the World Championships in 2021


Skiers will then have the chance to test out the venue for the 2021 Worlds for the first time in the World Cup season opener.

The Norwegian city has a long history of organising major sporting events including the 1994 Paralympic Winter Games, and will stage the first joint Para Snow Sports Worlds the following year.

Finsterau, Germany: 1-8 February 2020

Finsterau also staged the World Championships in 2017

The German resort has a long Para Nordic skiing history, having previously hosted World Cups and the 2017 World Championships. 

Finsterau sits 1000m above sea level in the municipality of Mauth in Freyung-Grafenau on the border with the Czech Republic.

Ostersund, Sweden: 17-22 March 2020

Ostersund returned to the World Cup circuit after a six-year break in 2019


Ostersund will stage the Finals in 2020 after returning as a World Cup host resort last season. 

The Swedish resort has a strong Para sport history, having also hosted the Para ice hockey PyeongChang 2018 Qualification Tournament in 2017.
