When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para trap shooting in 2018 and began competing in 2019.
Why this sport?
His wife encouraged him to try shooting Para sport as he was an able-bodied trap shooter before his accident. After contacting a Para shooter, he first tried air rifle at a shooting range but was later encouraged to try trap shooting by a pistol coach in Hanover, Germany. "At some point I read that there is a wheelchair user who shoots an air rifle. But without this coach [pistol], I probably would never have come up with the idea [to compete in trap events]."
