RETIREMENT AND COMEBACKS
He retired from competition after the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney to spend more time with his family and focus on his job with IBM. He came back to mentor Erik Hightower in 2005 and ended up racing to help with Hightower's Paralympic preparation.
