When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up swimming in at age seven in Orsha, Belarus. He began training in 2015.
Why this sport?
"Before the explosion, I had time to try out a lot of the sports clubs in Orsha. My favourites were swimming and kayaking, and I decided that I wanted to paddle. Then the explosion happened and those plans were destined not to come true. Swimming has become the most accessible sport for me. First I swam with a ring, then with support, and I was overjoyed when I managed to swim by myself."
