I had the opportunity to express my values, but above all the needs of the people. I want to be the person who can give people hope for change. Nowadays the most important thing to bring to the attention of the political world is respect for the rights of every person. The experience has allowed me to grow as a person, and moreover it has allowed me to start giving a voice to those who have not had one for too long." (, 26 Oct 2020)

She credits her mother with helping her come to terms with the car accident that resulted in her impairment and the loss of her father and sister at age five. "I didn't realise what was happening, however I slowly understood the gravity of the situation. Instead of giving up I decided I had to fight, I had to react. Just as other kids were starting to walk I was learning how to do it all over again. I had to learn to write differently, to dress differently. I was a little girl who could not understand if in the future she would be able to walk again. My mother didn't know what to say to me because it was a very difficult situation for her to manage. She had lost my sister and father. She has done a great job because I am still here." ( YouTube channel, 13 Jun 2019)

In 2018 she took part in the Miss Wheelchair Italia beauty contest. (, 25 Nov 2018)
