He began playing Para ice hockey in 2003 in Hensall, ON, Canada.
Why this sport?
A friend from the church he attended introduced him to the sport. "Growing up in the town I grew up in, hockey was a big part of everything so my parents just kind of dedicated themselves to finding a sport that I could play. I made it my goal that I would be the best at sledge hockey one day."
