Why this sport?
In 2011, after three years of surgical procedures, he joined the Aspire National Training Centre to start his rehabilitation. He started playing wheelchair basketball at first, and then in 2013 he borrowed a racing wheelchair to race in the London Marathon in England. While trying to qualify for the marathon, he was spotted by Jenny Archer, coach of Paralympian David Weir, and asked to join the Weir Archer Academy.
