Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para athletics in 2008.
Why this sport?
He preferred rugby and football in his youth, but realised he had a talent for athletics. He first tried sprinting, then throwing events. "I wanted to practise some sports, not necessarily to compete. Then [at school] I was obliged to do athletics. I didn't want to run but I was told, 'You'll be good at it', so I took it up. I tried athletics and I realised that I was good at it. It was not really my favorite sport, but as I began to feel the pleasure of running, jumping and throwing, I realised that it was good for me, so I continued. Then I began travelling everywhere and that's when my vocation was born."
