Para-equestrian dressage riders from across Europe and around the world will descend on Mannheim, Germany, this weekend for the city’s annual three-star competition, held as part of the May Market Horse Show.

Among the 40-plus riders taking part are some of the biggest names in the sport, including current Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 Grade Ia freestyle champion Sara Morganti of Italy and Rixt Van Der Horst from the Netherlands, who scored Grade II double gold at Worlds.

Austria’s London 2012 gold medallist Pepo Puch will also compete, as will Belgium’s double Paralympic and World champion Michèle George.

And home fans will have plenty to cheer for, including Dr. Angelika Trabert and Britta Napel in the Grade II, as well as multi-World and Paralympic gold medallist Hannnelore Brenner in the Grade III.

The competition runs from 1-5 May. You can follow the action and get live results on the competition website.
