FIMS and the IPC Sign Agreement
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS) have officially signed and put in effect an agreement that will aim to improve mutual knowledge on the health, safety, research and performance of athletes with a disability. 13 Jan 2009
Said IPC President Sir Philip Craven: “The collaboration with the International Federation of Sports Medicine will bring new ideas to the table that are sure to inspire new projects with medical research and education in the coming months and years. I look forward to seeing the progress to be made and the developments as a result.”
