The official emblem and slogan for the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Para Games have been unveiled by the Organising Committee on 23 March.

The emblem includes an athlete on a wheelchair striving forward, exuding dynamism, energy and passion. It also consists of a running track formed by 10 semi-arc lines with a gradient ramp from purple to red and then yellow, reflecting the surging tides of the Qiantang River that runs through Hangzhou.

Chen Weiqiang, Asian Para Games Deputy Secretary General and Hanzgzhou Vice-Mayor, said: “The emblem conforms to the concept of 'sunshine, harmony, self-improvement and sharing.”

At the same time, "Hearts meet, Dreams shine" was announced as the slogan of the 2022 Asian Para Games.
