Helena Lucas nominated for World Sailor Award

Being the only woman in the 2.4mR fleet with three former Paralympic gold medallists up against her did not stop Lucas from claiming gold. Now she has been nominated for the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards 2012. 02 Oct 2012

As the only female sailor in the 2.4mR fleet at the London 2012 Paralympic Games and with three former Paralympic gold medallists amongst her 15 rivals, Lucas made light work of them taking four bullets in the 10 race series to clinch the gold
