This week’s ‘Holiday Hotspot’ comes from young track star Hunter Woodhall.

The American was just 17-years-old when he raced at Rio 2016 – his first ever Paralympic Games.

Competing in the highly competitive men’s 200m and 400m T44, Woodhall (T43) showed he has a terrific future ahead of him as he returned home with one silver and one bronze medal.

When it comes to holidays, Woodhall knows he doesn’t have to go far to find exactly what he wants:

"My favourite place to go is definitely California. One: my coach is there and two: it's one of the most beautiful places in the world, in my opinion.

“You've got the ocean, beach and then mountains in the middle of California. Southern California is definitely my favourite place to be. I have great company and it's just the best place in the world.”

What two essential items would he take?

"I'd say my phone and... let's see, my legs I suppose!"
