NPC Brazil nominates Andrew Parsons for IPC Vice President

Andrew Parsons, President of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CBP) and International Paralympic Committee Governing Board Member, annouced high expectations for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

The Brazilian Paralympic Committee announced that it has nominated Andrew Parsons for the position of Vice President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) at the elections that will take place in November during the IPC General Assembly and Conference in Athens, Greece.

Parsons is currently a Member at Large of the IPC Governing Board and President of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee.

Following the IPC code of conduct for candidates to election, neither the Brazilian Paralympic Committee nor Andrew Parsons will make any further public comments on the nomination and IPC electoral process prior to the official public announcement by the IPC of all valid candidatures for election.
