World Para Nordic Skiing and the Lillehammer Olympic Legacy Sports Centre will host a digital skiing camp from November 22 to 25.

Lillehammer is the host city of the 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships, which will take place from 7-20 February.

The Lillehammer Para Nordic Skiing Camp is targeted at athletes and coaches in Para cross-country skiing and Para biathlon, but registration is open and free to any participants.

Originally set to take place in the Norwegian ski resort in April 2020, the camp was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and changed to a digital format until the next on-site camp can be organised.

The four-day camp will offer daily physical workouts, as well as daily lectures and coach meetings to take place in the evening, Central European Standard Time.

Speakers include Paralympic champion Nils Erik Ulset, Olympic biathlete Erlend Bjontegaard, four-time Para Nordic world champion Vilde Nilsen, head coach and director of US Paralympics Nordic Skiing Eileen Carey, five-time Nordic combined world medallist Mikko Kokslien, head of development at the Norwegian Biathlon Association Harri Luchsinger, and Norwegian Centre of Elite Sports nutritionist Camilla Aasen Maeland.

The camp is organised by the Lillehammer Olympic Legacy Sports Centre, Norwegian Ski Federation, Norwegian Biathlon Association and World Para Nordic Skiing.

Registration for the camp, which is open until November 12, is available at this link
